Will be heading down to Maidstone, Kent to do the lighting for an event called "More 2 Life" on the 6th Nov run by the Manna Christian Fellowship based in Maidstone. Check out the portfolio for pics etc.

» Organising lighting at Fair Oaks Light Party

Put on each year by people from St Thomas's church in Fair Oak, Southampton, the event has grown enourmously so much so that the event now takes place in the Shorts Road Rec with approx 2000 people attending last year.

This year I am responsible for organising and setting up the lighting for the small stage. We have a bigger budget this year and planning to add some movers to the stage this year. The event is being held on the 31st October so come down and enjoy the fireworks and bands. Check out the photos that will posted after the event.

We're now making all the final preparations for the festival week including testing the database and getting the sound and lighting equipment together.

I managed to have the opportunities to sit in and watch the professionals edit together a 60sec TV advert for a local company. On the tuesday I watched as they edited it offline, on friday they are editing online.

Christian Therapists Network are holding a conference for their members and other Allied Health Professions from different organisations at Quinta Conference Centre, Shropshire on 4th - 6th March. I will heading up there to sort out the sound and powerpoint for the main meetings.
