Luv Esther Documentary

The documentary is based on the pop musical Luv Esther which has been touring round the uk since May 2005. The documentary followed the cast and crew as the setup for a show in Bouremouth during May 2006. The film also explains the shows aim and how they are supporting HIV/Aids victims in South Africa.

Overall we spent, 5 days filming, 14 hours of footage, 7 days editing the documentary into a 16 min film. The main aims for the film was to communicate what Luv Esther was doing and to have a high level of production quality.

UPDATE - 12/06/06:
There film had a good review at the crit with peers saying very professional, they could watch it again and felt moved hearing about juliets story. Negative comments were about the choice of using The Killers, sound quality in places and seemed to have been made for the cast.

UPDATE - 22/06/06:
The documentary was shown to the cast/crew yesterday who all really enjoyed it. Luv Esther have all said they are thinking about putting on their myspace site where they have 1500 friends.
