This page aims to explain how xmedia developed and what its principles are. As a service we aim to give every client excellent communication, high-quality production and helpful support.
How did crossmedia start?
crossmedia began after myself (Matt Mills) began to do some video work for a charity. After completing three videos for their youth projects I was given a gift of money which I used to put together this website. I needed a name for the production company and being a Christian I called it xmedia; the x is a common substitute for the Cross - the place of Jesus death and, Media to encompass sound, video and lighting. Since the beginnings back in 2001 the site has grown into an online portfolio of the production work undertaken.

Christianity is obviously an important part of who you are, how did you become a christian?
I have grown up and been blessed with a christian family and grew up going to sunday school. All the years went by hearing the various stories from the bible but nothing really mean't much to me. It wasn't till I was 12 and went to a bible camp that I realised that the people worshipping in front of me, were doing it to a real and alive person. That night I asked God into my life. I felt a sense of warmth and love enter my heart and body.
Since then He had blessed me hugely with great friends and gifts. I have no explanation as to were my technical abilities and knowledge came from, all I know is God has given them to me. |
